Our Mission
Myself, Terri, Wes and our team of hard-core conservationists, environmentalists, and naturalists at the Australia Zoo are breaking exciting new territory in wildlife and wilderness CONSERVATION.
Together we're breaking the traditional conservation moulds, making a quantum leap into new levels of conservation techniques and strategies, setting new benchmarks for the protection of the world's environment and humanity.
Wildlife Warriors
Wildlife Warriors Worldwide Ltd was established in 2002, initially by Steve and Terri Irwin as a way to include and involve other caring people to support the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife – from the individual animal to an entire species.
Steve and Terri remain involved as patrons and significant supporters and advisors, but the charity now operates independently of them.
Programs
Australia Zoo has established a number of programs that will enable our wildlife to have the greatest chance of survival. The following is a list of programs we have in place: Endangered Species Breeding, Priority Species Breeding, Field Study, Habitat Acquisition, Rescue and Documentaries.

Wildlife Rescue
Steve and Terri Irwin were born into wildlife rescue; their parents were rescuing animals from roadsides in both Australia and the United States before they were even born. Steve and Terri have carried on the family tradition of wildlife rescue, and continue to pass it along to their own children.
Lyn Irwin Memorial Fund
Way, way back in February of 1962 I was born right fair smack on my Mum's 20th birthday. Crikey! A birthday present she'll never forget. The umbilical cord of our souls was never cut, to this very day I am connected to my Mum, I cry for her now, I'll cry for her forever.
